Student exchange ENEA-CIPF

Giorgia Innamorati, PhD student in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata within the RISEUP project, obtained a fellowship from the BioEM, an international society that brings together researchers and scientists involved in the study of biological effects induced by electromagnetic fields exposure. In the frame of this fellowship, she will spend almost two months in the lab of Dr. Victoria Moreno Manzano at the Centro Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF).

During this period, she will study the effect of direct current on MSCs, iNSCs, as well as primary cultures of cortical neurons and ex vivo spinal cord cultures, a central topic in the final development of the electrical stimulation protocol to fully differentiate stem cells.
